CTS Audio team members recently completed the Breakfast Club Winter Summit for Primerica Financial Services at the Gaylord Entertainment Center in downtown Nashville, TN. The Breakfast Club is a sales group of Primerica who work together to increase their business. This consisted of several notables in the Primerica organization helping to educate fellow Breakfast Clubbers.
The conference gave CTS’ Pre-Production Specialist John Stewart a chance to fly a JBL Vertec 4888 L, R system with the addition of the newly added 4882 Mid-Sized Subwoofer. “The great benefit to the new 4882 is its ability to array with the 4888 utilizing the same rigging. This allows for a very streamlined look that also sounds great!” said John.
The 2-day event included many speakers on lav mics with no time for soundchecks. The CTS crew performed flawlessly and the VerTec's pattern control allowed for very natural sounding lav's in an arena setting! Sennheiser MKEII's were coupled to Shure U4 Wireless and a Yamaha DM2000 handled all mixing functions.
Scott DeVos of De Lux Productions, oversaw the production for Primerica and Weston Smith and Dave McMullin rounded out the crew for CTS.
Audio Consultant Ed Crippen was also like a kid in a candy store with BSS Audio’s newly released Soundweb London series BLU-80. Boasting twice the DSP power, the new London series is set to lead the industry in total system control. With the addition of the new NTM crossover filters, “the (Vertec) has never sounded so good!” said Ed.
Installation Director David Myers and Install Field Operations Manager Michael Moore stopped by to hear the system with the newly acquired subwoofers and were very pleased with the flexibility and fidelity of the system. CTS president and founder Carl Taylor “(is) excited about what the future holds” with the integration of these new systems.
